André Michelle Speaking at TYPO3 Developer Days

This was the second talk I recommended as part of the beyond tellerrand partnership with TYPO3. They invited me to curate a few slots at this year at their Developer Days.

André Michelle stands in front of a large projection screen at TYPO3 Developer Days 2026, presenting a title slide that reads ‘Why You Should Do It Anyway!’ along with his name and GitHub URL. Two audience members are visible in the foreground, one wearing a TYPO3 t-shirt.
André Michelle speaks and gestures on stage at TYPO3 Developer Days 2026. The projection screen behind him, titled ‘Audiotool Escalation’ shows a GitHub notification reading ‘You have been removed from the Audiotool Inc organization’ alongside bullet points describing his displeasure with mismanagement, the immediate termination of his contract, the emotional impact of losing 16 years of work and an ongoing court case over promised shares. Audience members are visible in the foreground.

André Michelle agreed to join and I was happy that his talk was so wonderfully received. A great mixture of tech and audio. The version he gave at beyond tellerrand can be found here.
